Moisturizers are a necessary part of a skincare routine for everyone. They help to keep the skin hydrated and healthy.

Moisturizers can be used in a variety of ways, such as for the hands, face, and body. They can be applied both before or after showering or bathing.

Essentially, the best face moisturizer for you depends on your skin type and needs. For example, if you have dry skin then you will want to use a heavier moisturizer with more oil in it that will seal moisture into your skin. If you have oily skin then you will want to use a lighter moisturizer that absorbs quickly into your skin without leaving any residue behind.

You know how moisturizers are always praised for their ability to blend in quickly? This one, on the other hand, takes its time, which is a good thing. Our skin was plump and dewy for…okay, it still is plump and dewy, and we haven’t reapplied in about eight hours. The paraben-free formula didn’t even bother our acne-prone, rosacea-prone, problem-prone skin. It’s great for all skin types, according to us.

Elf Skincare Brand

E.L.F. Cosmetics (which stands for Eyes, Lips, Face) takes pride in taking a small, independent approach to work, learning, and testing in order to get their products to market as quickly as possible. They can offer the best products at VERY AFFORDABLE prices by leveraging their relationships with some of the best manufacturers in the world and listening to feedback and reviews from their customers.

Phthalates, parabens, nonylphenol ethoxylates, triclosan, triclocarban, and hydroquinone are all absent from e.l.f. products. Sulfates are also absent from e.l.f. skincare products. Every single one of their products is vegan and cruelty-free, and they sell them all over the world!

E.l.f. stands out among drugstore skincare brands, joining The Ordinary and The Inkey List, because they, too, have several products under $10 (though their Full Spectrum CBD Collection is more expensive) and the products simply work. While e.l.f. does not have as many treatment serums as The Ordinary and The Inkey List, they do have some impressive skincare treatment products that produce noticeable results and are reasonably priced.

ELF Moisturizer: Texture, Feel and Application

This e.l.f. moisturizer is a white facial cream that is neither too thick nor too runny. It has a pleasant texture for a face lotion. Pump out a small amount and massage it over your face and neck until it is completely absorbed. Even though it’s a thinner product, it doesn’t absorb quickly, so you’ll have to wait 5-10 minutes before applying anything else over the lotion.

With the pump, applying this moisturizer is a breeze. As long as you have the cap, you can store it by standing it up on your counter. The pump worked perfectly and dispensed a sufficient amount each time. It never became clogged or stopped working, as some pumps do.

The drying time for this face lotion is surprisingly long. It’s not a particularly thick cream, so I wasn’t expecting it to take as long as it did to completely absorb into my skin. This has a fantastic scent – it’s slightly floral and extremely luxurious, which is surprising given how cheap it is! The scent isn’t overpowering, but it’s very refreshing in the morning or right before bed.

ELF Moisturizer Value

e.l.f. is a makeup and skincare brand known for their extremely low prices on all of their products. Regardless, e.l.f. generally does a great job of making the most of their products, despite their low price. When you look at the ingredients, you can see why it is so cheap, but despite some of the chemicals, it did a good job of moisturizing in the short term. Understandably, it’s because of these, it’s been considered one of the best face moisturizer for men.
